Profile
On this tab, you fill in your own details. Sophia uses this to recognize you, and to pre fill forms, invoices, and electronic attestations.
Basic Fields
- Full name: your name.
- Username: shows the email address you log in with. This field can't be changed here.
- Address, Telephone, and Email: the email here is the reply to address used on outgoing emails, which isn't necessarily the same as your login email.
Therapist Type
Choose your profession from the list. By default, only "Physiotherapist" is available to choose.
Aren't you a physiotherapist, for example an occupational therapist or speech therapist? Tick Alternative therapist type. A free text field then appears where you can type your own profession, instead of the fixed list.
Bank Account
Enter your IBAN. Sophia automatically checks whether this is a valid account number.
- Is the IBAN valid, and does Sophia recognize the bank? Then Bank name and BIC Bank are filled in automatically, and you can no longer edit these two fields by hand.
- Doesn't Sophia recognize the bank, or is there a technical problem while checking? Then you can fill in bank name and BIC yourself.
- Is the IBAN invalid? Then bank name and BIC stay blank and uneditable, until you enter a valid IBAN.
TIP
Do you clear the IBAN field? Then bank name and BIC are automatically cleared along with it.
Identification Numbers
- RIZIV: your RIZIV/INAMI number.
- National number: checked for a valid format (11 digits, with the correct check digits). Do you type in dots or dashes? Those are automatically removed.
- VAT number: in the format BE0123456789.
- Company number: in the format 0123456789.
TIP
Do you fill in a VAT number, but no company number yet? Then Sophia automatically derives the company number from the VAT number.
Conventional
The Conventional checkbox determines whether you follow the official RIZIV tariffs, or can set your own rates. Read more about this at Conventional or Non-Conventional.
