Prescriptions
On this tab in a patient's record, you manage the medical prescriptions that authorize the treatment sessions.
Adding a Prescription
Click Add prescription, and fill in:
- The prescribing doctor.
- The doctor's RIZIV/INAMI number.
- The prescription date.
- The number of remaining sessions.
TIP
Sophia also has a paid feature to photograph a prescription. Scan the QR code, and use your smartphone to take a photo of the prescription. Image recognition then automatically generates a number of fields, such as the prescribing doctor and the nomenclature.
Always check these automatically generated fields yourself, and pay particular attention to the nomenclature: image recognition isn't flawless.
Editing a Prescription
Click the pencil icon to adjust the details of an existing prescription.
Remaining Sessions
The Remaining sessions column is calculated automatically: the total number of sessions, minus the sessions already used, minus any extra deducted sessions. You don't need to track this yourself.
Viewing Closed Prescriptions
By default, Sophia only shows open prescriptions. Turn on Include closed prescriptions to also show prescriptions that are already used up or closed. The Closed column shows this per prescription.
Deleting a Prescription
This is only possible after confirmation.
WARNING
Deleting a prescription also deletes every appointment linked to it. This can't be undone, so check carefully before confirming.
TIP
Prescriptions are the basis for almost everything else in the record: appointments, approvals, attestations, and more are often linked to a prescription.
