Password and Security
On this tab, called "Password & MFA" in Sophia itself, you keep your account secure.
Changing Your Password
Enter your new password twice: once at Password, and once at Confirm password (must match exactly). Click Confirm to save.
Extra Security (MFA)
TIP
Only visible if enabled for your account.
Multi factor authentication (MFA) asks for a code from an app on your phone, in addition to your password, when logging in.
Here's how to turn it on:
- Tick Active.
- A QR code appears. Open an app such as Google Authenticator on your phone, and scan this code.
- From then on, that app generates a numeric code that keeps changing, and that you need to log in.
WARNING
Turn MFA off and back on again, and a new QR code appears. Your previous pairing with the app no longer works, you'll need to scan again.
Auto Lock
Enter after how many minutes without activity your screen locks. You'll then need your password to keep working. Enter 0 to turn auto lock off.
